TOUR SITGES BODEGA

On this tour we will visit the historic city Sant Pere de Ribes, with its medieval castle and its old church. Why not meet some of the remaining farmers that produce their own wine, like in Torre del Veguer or Can Ramon, where we will have an inspiring walk through the vineyards and its facilities, rounded off with a wine tasting session.

During this tour we will pass some wonderful estates, like Clos la Plana, which is a fantastic example of Catalan modernistic architecture or the Finca Mas Solers, a Catalan Renaissance-style mansion of the late nineteenth century. Garraf is a beautiful wine region. We will visit the historic family-run winery Can Ramon, where you will be amazed by the view of the vineyard-covered valleys surrounding it. If you are looking for a wine tasting break in Garraf, this is definitely one of the best to visit. Besides tasting the wines and cavas, we will have a lunch.

On our way back to Sitges we will visit Sant Pere de Ribes and have a look at the historic district and other interesting locations like the Torre Sota Ribes.

TOUR SITGES LA COSTA

This tour will give you a different perspective of Sitges. We will take you along the coastline all the way up to Garraf to enjoy the excellent views of the sea.

Driving along the coastline of Sitges will never create a dull moment and there is always something unique for each participant to enjoy along the road.

We will start our tour at Fragata beach at the foot of the church of Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla and will drive to the end of the Paseo Maritiem, the 2.5 km long promenade passing all (9) city beaches. We will follow our way passing the Jardins de Terramar and Golfclub up to the more secluded beaches (7) as Playa De Les Coves, De L’Home Mort … These beaches can only be reached by a walking or bike path.

Before turning back to Sitges we will have a stop at the top, overlooking the sea, and enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and its surroundings. Returning to Sitges we will pass Playa Sebastian, Els Balmins heading for the harbour. During our trip we will find a wide array of museums and historic sites to stop and explore.

After a lunch break at Stix in Port Aiguadolç, we will continue our tour down the scenic coastal road to the private beach Cala Morisca and finaly Garraf, where we have a visit at Güell’s cellar; a project of Antoni Gaudí. This building is an example of Catalan architecture and is nowadays part of a restaurant. Time to drive back down the coastline to our base in Sitges.

The Garraf Natural Park forms part of the Catalan Coastal Mountains and you will witness the most beautiful views Garraf has to offer.

A large part of the track consist of sand, stones, gravel and up slopes and down slopes. We will drive with a nice, relaxed pace. If you can ride a bike, you can do this tour. This is a beautiful tour with lots of nature, culture and adventure.

There is a lot to see along the way! After Jafra we will go on a long off-road track to the Buddhist Monastery Palau Novella (1892). Here we will have a lunch.

After the Monastry we will depart through the hills to Can Grau, which is a holiday camp in the Natural Park of Garraf. You will have a majestic view of Vilanova and the Mediterranean Sea. TOUR AUTODROME TERRAMAR

The world’s most exciting National Racetrack is located in Sant Pere de Ribes and was designed by the architect Jaume Mestres i Fossas and was inaugurated on October 28th,1923 with the 1st Grand Prix International of Spain.

At that moment, there were only two other Racetracks in Europe and the Terramar Racetrack would be the third, but unfortunately the Racetrack was not in use very long and was abandoned after the civil war and has remained forgotten. Nowadays the Racetrack is still the only existing Racetrack from those years and you are able to see the complete 2km long track, stands, paddocks and the two famous 60º steep curves.

You have the opportunity to enjoy this industrial and architectural heritage and have the possibility of driving some laps on the historical autodrome.
